Gite Makila

Hola! I am planning to start from SJPP in mid-May.
Last time through I stayed at Gite Makila but I have not been able to determine if it is still in business.
Does anyone know the current status of this hostel?
It was quite wonderful and I would to stay there once more.

It has sold and the new owners have no intention of using it as an albergue.
That's what they told my group leader this past autumn.

I stayed there last spring. It was lovely. It was my first choice back in 2020 when I was originally set to do the camino. A bit sad about this.

It's under construction and we don't know when it will be ready or under what name.
