A well attended meeting, speeches by Society members, the Spanish Ambassador, Manolo who is the President of the various Concellos on the Ingles, and the Dean of Christ Church Cathedral. I told Manolo the best albergue for me was in his home town, Sigüeiro! A new map leaflet, emphasising the Celtic Camino, has been designed. Manolo was just back from promoting the Celtic/Ingles in Victoria, Calgary, Ontario and Toronto.
Afterwards there was time for meeting people and enjoying a vino and some finger food.

TBH, husband and I are talking about walking from Bray back to Dublin, getting the appropriate stamps, and then making our way across to A Coruña next year. Cheaper? Not at all. But this 40% Irish-American wants the Celtic very much...

Any chance that I could find an electronic copy of the leaflet?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
A screenshot of the Compostela, from the Camino Society website, awarded having walked one of the Celtic Camino routes. A copy is sufficient to present in Santiago, proof of the extra 25km needed to get a Compostela from A Corunna.

No rooms in Bruma tonight. Anywhere. Is it cheating to take a cab 10k away to get a place to stay?
Hello all, I'll be walking the Camino Inlgés staring 21st May, along with my husband and my mother. My husband and I are relatively fit, in our mid-40's, and my 75-year-old mother is somewhat fit...
