Almería Association publishes “Voces peregrinas. Un canto al camino en feminino.”

The Almería Association has just published a book compiling the comments of female pilgrims from all over. The presentation of the book was last week in the Museo de las Peregrinaciones in Santiago. I know that some of us participated in this project, though I haven’t yet seen the book (And Mercedes tells me there was a mixup and I am misidentified anyway, oh well!) I don’t know if it is only comments of women who have walked the Mozárabe, or if it sweeps more broadly, but it was surely a labor of love. It has gotten some local press coverage, but the exciting news is that Mercedes has just been contacted by the Xunta to see if they would agree to turn the book into a traveling exposition, with large panels of a meter square for each page.

You can see a video with some excerpts on a pinned post on a facebook page.

Laurie - you would probably know that I have seen the book. The artwork is beautiful. The quotes from each person are written in both Spanish and English.
The only misrepresentation I noticed with your page is that they have you as from United Kingdom.
I recognised a few of the people whose comments are included. Also @AJGuillaume .. I met several of the others in Santiago too. A great group .
