I am having difficulty finding out how to get to Belorado from Madrid airport. Arriving 6/1 at about 8 a.m. at airport. After customs and baggage claim, it should be about 9:30 a.m. Willing to take bus or train, or ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure but Burgos has a bus connection to Belorado if I remember correctly.

Others who have better knowledge will probably be along soon with better answers.

But your start point is likely Madrid Airport to the nearest city to Belorado - Burgos.

Try the rome2rio site for starters…

There are direct buses (coaches) from Madrid Airport to Burgos bus station - a 2.5 hour journey.

From Burgos, I’m sure there’s a bus service to Belorado.

The best way to get from Burgos to Belorado without a car is to bus which takes 45 min and costs €2 - €5. How long does it take to get from Burgos to Belorado? The bus from Burgos to Belorado takes 45 min including transfers and departs every four hours.

You could get an Alsa bus from the airport to either Burgos or Logrono. And from either of those cities, you can get a Jimenez bus to Belorado. Either way it will be a long day for you after, I assume, a transatlantic flight.

Here are the bus times from the Madrid Airport bus station to Burgos (Alsa) and the bus times from Burgos to Belrado (Jimenez) for Wed. May 6. These are probably pretty regular on weekdays.
You can search for your date (depending on how far in advance, may not be available yet) It will require a bus transfer in any case. See links to the two companies below. Alsa has an English drop down. Jimenez does not that I can see, but you can translate it with your browser.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Thank you A.I.
