Carry on with your original, Patch. Before you start next year, reviewing your steps from this year will help you recall the Camino joy and you will certainly continue in good form! Buen Camino!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
If you take a break in the last 100km, you need to show the arrival and departure on one or more credenciales, so using the same one is most efficient. You need a departure stamp when you restart.

On the VDLP I saw a passport that extended over nearly three years. Get a stamp from the cathedral and the Albergue you stop in before resuming your Camino. Remember to get a stamp as appropriate and two per day for the last 100 km. Cheers

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Walking up to Rabanal this year, I met a German couple in their late 70s who each had a stack of about 4 credencials, documenting their journey from home (somewhere East of Dresden!), done in stages since 2008. They were doing the final 2 weeks of a very long journey...and yes, with the same credencials. Very inspiring.
As a few have said, make sure you get a stamp at your point of departure, and 2 per day in the last 100Kms.

Thanks for the replies. I did Leon to Santiago, last year and was hoping to do the remainder of the French Camino this year but...so will do the Burgos to Leon in the spring of next year. Not having to scramble around to get another passport makes it easy peasy.
But ......will be doing an additional long one in the Autumn of 2016 - any recommended Caminos out there?
