Don's recent thread about the flood of posts about lost glasses made me notice that there are many long time topics that seldom are posted now.
Whatever happened to the weekly. daily, or less threads and posts concerning pack weight and how to manage it?
Are most newer pilgrims much stronger...
I am looking for an Ikea Poncho...not available from Ikea or the manufacturer (Knalla) any longer.
These were perfect for me and I seem to have lost both of mine somewhere.
Let me know if you have one you are not using and would like to sell it.
Thanks
There is a bit of a bright spot for Americans in regard to currency exchange . For those who do not use the
US Dollar...this thread has little or no interest.
The Euro to Dollar exchange rate today is $1.04 which is a bargain to those of us who have become accustomed to much less favorable...
The Costco Down Quilt has not been offered for quite a while and I would like to locate one (or 2).
Does anyone have one (or 2) laying around that they do not need?
@peregrina2000 has provided this link to Luis Freixo’s map which shows the various routes in Portugal along with some added information on page 2 of the link.

A member has asked the current status of bus service from Pamplona to St. Jean. I have not kept up with this and hesitate to answer the question. The last time I did this there was no bus service and a taxi was the only real option..but I know this has changed.
They are flying to Madrid and...
A member who is walking from St. Jean has an older (but physically capable) family member who wants to meet them and walk into Santiago. She prefers to start a bit before Sarria to experience a little of the camino before the crowds and rush at Sarria. Triacastela through Samos has been...
The seasonal bus from Pamplona to St. Jean is running starting April 1st (or sooner?)
This is a good choice for those who land /arrive in Madrid and can take either bus from the airport to Pamplona or a train (airport connections) to Pamplona. A very easy way to get to SJPP.
Wise Pilgrim has just announced that the new Primitivo Guidebook will be available this week.
I have not seen a copy yet so am not able to offer a review...but his previous guides have been very popular.
Ivar will have it for sale in the Forum Store..Casa Ivar..if anyone is researching an...
Are there stats from the Pilgrim Office in SJPP regarding the daily or weekly registrations?
Do we know the estimate of the number walking to Roncesvalles (Orrisson) each day in the summer?
This site is interesting.
Not sure if there is another thread I missed..if so I will delete his one.

I may just be missing it in the fog of threads and posts....but is there a discussion of the Littoral Route that sticks to Littoral without the Coastal discussion?
It is often a confusing mix of routes.
Is there a dedicated guide or a proper Littoral section in another guide?
I did walk it in...
This message was just posted on the American Pilgrims Facebook Site.
Perhaps someone will know how to reach her.
Her wallet was found in Pamplona.
"Hola peregrinos, if anyone of you who is walking on the Camino now knows Susan Dawes (from Australia?), please tell her that she had left her...
When walking in Spain, I always send a box or small suitcase on to Ivar when I arrive in Spain. This is for "after Camino" clothes as we usually hang around Europe for a bit after arriving in Santiago.
Does anyone have experience or a suggestion as to how this would be handled in Rome? I am...
I just completed a mid January Camino Frances. It was my 3rd or 4th walk on the CF and ninth Camino overall. I have walked in March, April, May, June, July, August, September and October.
I had never seen a bedbug or been in a albergue or hotel/pension that reported them except for one time...
I need to post an "after Camino" suitcase on to Ivar in Santiago. I arrive in Paris and will drag it along to SJPdP. The suitcase is needed as we are (as usual) doing a bit of after Camino traveling.
This is about 13 January so the level of service will be curtailed.
I usually send a small...
