Hi,
I'm arriving into Biarritz at 10:45 tomorrow morning - 5th of April, and there doesn't seem to be any way of getting there that I can see. The trains are on strike? Can that be confirmed? And I'm also not sure of the bus timetable. I'm pretty sure they go from Bayonne. Can anyone provide an...
I actually didn't mean to put tent haha It crept in somehow. But the sleeping bag is one I need. I might just bring it and drop it off if I find a replacement. Where I am at the minute I couldn't get to a store that sells them today. Thanks Jeanine!

Hi all,
I'm leaving for the Frances tomorrow and I'm wondering about the cost of a sleeping bag and poles in the Saint Jean outdoor store. I have a sleeping bag but it's a bit bulky and I'm going back and forth on whether to bring it. If the cost of the equipment in SJ makes sense then I'd...
Hi Brenda,
I've noticed that myself, in colder conditions it's almost worse to wear gloves it feels like. It must be to do with the fact that the material is wrapped tighter around your fingers, the blood probably doesn't flow as normal. But I will strongly consider that. Thank you.
Hi all,
I was to do the Frances in May this year but now have to do April if I have any chance! But I was preparing for slightly warmer and maybe drier conditions in May. I did the Frances 5 years ago but I can't remember how wet the conditions were early on. Can anyone tell me how rainy a...
Thanks Wilhaus. I'm definitely hoping for more - I want the camraderie of it. As long as there's still room to venture off on your own and find an empty plot of land to admire 😂 I'll definitely enjoy the planning. Thanks again
Evening all.
As is usually the way, I think, after you've done a Camino - you don't get too far in life before planning your next one.
In 2018 I did the entire Frances from SJPP out to Finisterre. To this day it's still the greatest experience of my life, even after doing 250km on the Del Norte...
Evening all, back again!
As per the title I'm looking for some information about applying for the FCS/ Health Control Form. I'm flying from Ireland into France on the 14th of September to then take a bus/train across the border to Irun that same day. I've just took a quick look at the SPTH...
I'm definitely into that cave art idea. I'm reading Fingerprints of the Gods by Graham Hancock at the minute so that cave art and historic viewing would be right up my street. I've got it noted, you're a gent Jerry.
Just come with me Trecile, what do you think? 😁
I'm going to use everything at my disposal as you were saying. Just need to set aside the time and get her done!
