Hey Rector as you know this is out first Camino all I would say is that we have found all (except MAMILs ) really easy to get on with Pilgrims and Spanish / everyone has made this Camino experience wonderful

In most Albergues there are nang alarms in the form of wonderful people waking up at all hours to toilet pack talk when drunk so why should I add to it with my wrist alarm that simply pulses till I wake

Leaving Castlerojeia - do yourself a favour stay at Camping Camino de Santiago which is at the start of town 15Euro a person for a private room - order the lamb dinner 39 euro for two it's wonderful - they are on Facebook as Camping Camino de Santiago but they need three hours to cook it

Jan if you are taking things you MAY need leave them - take compress and most of what you need you can buy in the Camino - travel with eyes heart soul and spirit open have plenty of space in them all as the Camino will fill them to overflowing

There are many sports stores that carry inner soles or even gel soles at farmacias if you need them - we got some gel heels at a farmacia to help with tendon problems

We transported our bags from SJPDP to Roncesvalles for 7 Euro best money we spent and just carried day packs - transpirting packs gives your legs and body a rest when needed and when tendons get strained - look also for compression stockings at farmacias they have helped des's legs

We left SJPDP on the 16th May abc supposedly so did 360 other Pilgrims and yet the walk is nut crowed yet ?
