I plan to start the Mozarabe from Malaga the first week in April. Anyone who has started from here, can you recommend:
A place to stay
Where can I get a Pilgrim passport ?
Where is the first marker?
Anything else of interest about this route?
I have walked this route from Almeria but want to...
I will be arriving in Leon on Tuesday 27/6/2023. I am looking for a place to get a Pilgrim passport near the train station. I intend to start walking upon arrival, so as close to train station as possible.
Gracias
I am considering a Madrid/San Salvador/Primitivo walk in late September. If anyone is walking the Madrid in August/September, I would appreciate postings on Accommodation along the Madrid route.
I am trying to find the lemon soda they mix with beer. Most likely it is different region to region but so far I have not been able to replicate it here.
My plan atm for this years walk is to do Via de Bayona and then travel to Malpica to walk the Camino de Faros.
I am looking for best travel options to get to Malpica from Burgos.
Thanks
In Santiponce, 90 minute walk. Go to river cross bridge head north and stay to right side. Markings on trees and sign post. Leaving Camas stay to left of roundabout. Then a straight shot to Santiponce through a light commercial area.
I am going to walk the VdlP this Spring. Now considering adding the Augusta.
Any feedback on the route, markings, how best to get there, accommodations, distances, elevations or general comments would be appreciated.

To all you experienced Easyjet travelers. Is it a requirement, like Ryan-air, that you print out your Boarding pass prior to checking in or you get charged at check-in?
Thanks,
Joe
I am flying into Paris on April 12th and planning to fly Easyjet from Paris to Biarritz. The flight only appears to be about 25% full. Should I book now or wait? Is there a chance they might cancel the flight because there are so few seats sold? Any other advice would be appreciated.
Ultreya,
Joe
One of the great aspects of the Camino, imo, are communal meals. My favorite on the Frances is Granon. I enjoy these types of settings. My plan this year is to stop at as many of these Albergues as possible.
Please share your favorite Albergue on the Camino Frances that offers a communal meal...
I will be walking the Camino Frances again this year. I have previously done the Napoleon route and am planning on taking the Valcarlos route this year. It looks relatively gentle compared to the Napoleon. I am curious as to how long it took you to walk to Valcarlos. I will be arriving in SJPdP...
I just booked my Spring flight on Lufthansa Chicago to Paris non stop for $470 RT. April 11th to May 12th. I know this is early but you can not beat the price. Not sure how this price holds up from other points of origin.
