What, what, is there a free beer???
The Dutch (brown) tracks go along the carretera further on from the factory while Vieiragrino (blue) tracks are the route me and you took. Me exactly, you roughly ;)
Enjoying your posts Annie which I just read right now. So sorry I couldn't offer more help...
Ahhh, Jean-Luc, it would be nice to meet again in SdC. At least we've had some off limits time that afternoon. After the Slovenian language mass in Rua Nova I walked back to the Cathedral around 17:00 and were drinking beer with few of the group at the bar just down the stairs off the Pr.do...
:D :D :D
No ringing ahead otherwise. Except for meals. The restaurants are almost without exception afraid of the groups because of the ordering process which takes so much time so they wanted me to choose one single choice within their menu. And I did. And I didn't tell that to the pilgrims ;)...
Oh, I forgot to add maybe the most useful info on Levante - the bar and restaurant in Gotarrendura is open again :D
The waitress speaks English too (she's Romanian) but I don't know whether she's just hired or did she actually takes over the place...
...Every day I found a church for a holy mass in Slovenian language. Travel agency was selling this trip for 1250€, half board in hotels at least 3* (if not in hotels then the meal was for me to find). We never had dinner before 21:30 and it was really hard to explain and prove that it is almost...
Yes @amsimoes , a friend of mine was returning from SdC to Madrid on foot last June on the Zamorano and he said that the markings are being repainted and there are more of them now. So he had no problem finding the way even in reverse.
...with 115km altogether) to chose between Valencia and Santiago with Braganca thrown in for a treat. Furthermore the agency guarantee sleeps in 3 or 4* hotels (breakfast & dinner included) with a Slovenian language mass each day. So the overnight stays just must've been planned in larger cities...
Thank you, Laurie, but I hope they don't like beer so I would have some time on my own ;) But it's OK, that's just work with a pinch of joy being on Camino again in any way that might be.
Hola, amig@s,
This is more or less just a post for the posting in the Camino Calendar. On March 30th I'll come to Valencia to take my first group of "tourigrinos" on a super fast Levante/Zamorano/Sanabres Camino Combo. All in all just 8 days but I'll be in heaven nevertheless :D
I won't have...
Hello!
This is just a "calendar thread" and for now I'm not going to post anything in it. If you'll be on the same route at the same time or just want to exchange information please use the PM option or simply send me an e-mail (you can find my personal address below in the signature part).
:)
That's exactly Camino de Levante. From Zamora on it's either VdlP/CF or VdlP/Sanabres or Zamorano/Sanabres. That means the app you mentioned is useless for Levante itself.
There are some on eBay but you would have to contact the seller about subtitles:

Very good movie BTW. It's how I learned about Camino(s) de Santiago. And never regret it :)
