In late 2015 i did the Camino Frances .next Wednesday i fly to Lisbon to do the Caminho Portuges
At present I too am nervous/anxious but after a day in Lisbon the next morning i will set off put one foot in front of the other and yesterdays worries will be history and quickly forgotten.
Fingers crossed mid January i will be setting off on my second pilgrimage to Santiago this time on the caminho Portuguese starting in Lisbon .
My question...does anyone know where i can get trekking poles in Lisbon

a quick update,
decided instead of flying from my familys location (valencia) to Santiago,,im going to fly to Lisbon and walk the rest of the way on the Camino Portuguese. when im not sure but will be sometime mid January and i will be going the coastal route ,

I completed my camino in 2015 (SJPD-SDC) ..
But on the day i arrived in SDC (october 2015) there was some sort of race,marathon or whatever going on, and because of this i did not get to enter the cathedral and pay my respects to St James.
So moving on ,just lately its been bothering...
I managed ok just by using the bottles from shop bought bottles of water and refilling them from taps,
i kept one bottle in my pack and for easy access i had one attached to my pack strap with a cable tie,if you dont fasten the tie to tight you can easily twist the bottle in and out
