do a google search on - camino de santiago - you will get good sites that have lot of info about walking and biking.
However I find that it is a journey that lends itself to a huge amount of planning - if that is what you need for your course.
I never met any deaf pilgrims on the camino, however I met one blind guy who was walking with a group, (he made it to santiago faster than me) and one child on a wheelchair being helped by his family.
It brings my return journey home to mind. I had never been to Lourdes so we stopped there...
I read a religious booklet while on the camino, not something that is usual for me. I picked it up in the Dutch Albergue. It said "while on the camino you follow the yellow arrows to your destination, what do you follow when the camino is finished"
