@Luka - i was alone... :/. The dogs were likely protecting the premises...and looked clean etc. (which I the main reason I'm not too worried). I mistook what was likely a farmhouse for an albergue... They charged when I walked up the driveway. This is also why I am reluctant to report to...- zimmecp

@anemone- thanks... But i certainly didn't stop and take a picture... @minak Thanks... While Spain is technically rabies free- it does still exist here in bats. The law would not likely require rabies shots in dogs if it haad been totally erradicated. Because of that law-I am playing the...- zimmecp

Yesterday, on the camino from Irun to San Seb ... I was bitten by a dog. I was turning up a driveway of what I thought was a hostel/albergue when several dog (residents) went nuts and started chasing me. One nipped me on the back of my leg. Supplies on the CdN
Hello fellow pilgrims! How easily can one obtain supplies on the CdN? (Specifically, trekking poles, Swiss Army Knife, and Aleve painkiller). I am inclined to get the first two AFTER a plane ride...and the last is the most effective pain killer I've dealt with for a recent injury to my knees...- zimmecp

Shoes For The Norte
Hi Everybody! I am gearing up for my first Camino this summer! I have read that there is a lot of asphalt/paved roads along the norte. I am wondering if hiking boots are really the best option...or would something that better protects the body from pavement (really good nikes?) would be...- zimmecp
