OK, I'm putting this subject to rest. I bought some kind of bug spray that has 0.30% permethrin in it. I will spray my backpack and the outside of my sleeping bag with this and hope for the best. Can I spray my wrap that I will use to cover the pillow with this?
Thanks to all!
Ellen
Thanks for all your suggestions. I was hoping to spray my stuff prior to leaving and not buy anything in SJPdP, then wait for it to dry. I certainly don't need to carry it with me, do I? What would be the closest thing to permethrin that could be purchased here in Canada? Does anyone know...
Hi All:
My question today is: How/where can I get a can of Permethrin in Canada? I have checked with local stores and so far, no luck. Short of driving to Spokane (closest REI) any other suggestions?
Thanks everyone!
Buen Camino!
Ellen
Thanks everyone for your interesting responses. I have tried the foam ones but they popped out immediately. I will try again, roll them up really small and put them in and hold them there, see if that works. If it doesn't, will buy some swimmer's ones.
Buen Camino! Thanks again.

Vagabondette: I have tried kids' size ones and they are still too big.
Piccata: What are the ones you mentioned made off? I have used the wax ones and ended up with a huge ball of wax in my ear canal. So don't really want to try that again!
I will check around and try some of the ones...
They look great! I hope I can get them here in Alberta, will definitely look for them and try them out. What a relief! A good night's sleep sounds like music to my ears!
Thanks Falcon269!
Hi evertone!
My issue is that I have very small ear openings and NO earplugs will stay put in there. After reading all the posts on the wonderful music that's being "snored" at night, what is a gal to do?? Sleeping pills?? Lots of vino tinto??
Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks!
Ellen
Pieces: That's the one!! I thought I had looked EVERYWHERE. Thank you!! It was such a fun one and in the end I thought I'd like to take all the stuff mentioned, but not really...!! I'm so happy you found it.
Thanks again.

Hi Anniethenurse: Thanks for the thread. Unfortunately, this is not the one I was referring to. The one I meant had items like, water boilers (even a pictures of that) , sink plugs, even kitchen sinks and all kinds of great ideas. Hopefully this will trigger something in you pilgrims out there...
I have been searching for this thread for the last two days and for the life of me, I cannot find it. I think I read it in Jan or Feb/12, but being relatively new on this Forum, not sure when it was posted. It was a long thread about "What was the one thing you brought that was the most useful"...
