I've heard other peregrinos referring to themselves as a Camino "addict" which, to me, refers to someone with an unhealthy physical reliance or mental obsession with something. It's always laughed off as an exaggeration intended to emphasize a point..
So if the OP wants to refer to himself...
Felipe,
Wow, this is all really interesting information. I should have searched here before I arrived.
I'm off to Montpellier for a couple days now. Thanks for this reply just the same.
Best,

Spending a couple days exploring Toulouse and I came across this yellow arrow very near the bus station. Camino or coincidence?
Today I visited the Musée d'Histoire de la Médecine. It is housed in Hótel-Dieu Saint-Jacques which, in the 13th century, was originally a major hospital for...
Last day in Spain by jgpryde posted Jun 22, 2017 at 2:03 PM
I just posted this pic of my last morning in Spain. It is this mornings daysano at Albergue de Peregrinos in Irun.
It kind of echos a similar image from my Orisson dinner and for me provides some closure.
Fortunately, I left a...
It seemed to me that bikers were shouting "Buen Camino " as a warning, not as a greeting.
I did come across a cyclist that had attached a cow's bell that jingled as he rode.
After I figured out that I wasn't being chased by a raging bull, I kind of liked the gentle warning.

I'm in Room 1, Bed 12 in Poshtel (Bilbao) as I type this and I can confirm there are no curtains on the beds in this room.
But it does have a USB jack for charging electronic devices. (Note no 220v outlets at the beds so you have to have a USB cord)

I wore long sleeves that I could easily roll up. They served both as an insulating layer on chilly mornings and a sunblock in the heat of the day.
Love the video.

Booking ahead is not taking the easier way, it is just another level of preparation. If anything, you may feel a burden of having to make those last few kilometers when you're tired and want to make an earlier stop.
So abandon the irrational guilt and enjoy your trip!
Buen Camino,

To test this, I searched on the word "function" which is not one of the tags assigned to your post but is found in the body of the text.
Viola!, the...
Viranani - I took your suggestion and searched on "Real Pilgrim". Gosh, I had no idea there was so much, er, diversity of viewpoints expressed on this topic already.
it's reassuring to hear that the anecdotes reported here as well as the prognosis for the Camino doesn't really reflect the...
Rebekah's presentation was prepared for presentation to the "weathered veterans" of the American Pilgrims on the Camino organization. Having not yet set foot in Spain, I can't pretend to bring such insights into this discussion. Even so, parts of Rebekah's speech did resonate with me, both...
I've seen references to electrolytes in various threads about carrying enough water.
Is there a general consensus on how important it is to augment one's water while on the path?
Are there particular conditions that necessitate electrolytes such as location, daily distance, time of year...
