Thanks for everyone's input. I want to walk but don't like walking the same route. I also did not like the Sanabres I walked last year so much.
Are there any other Camino's anywhere in the world which are comparable to the CF ?
Anybody here repeated Caminos ?
I have walked the French way, The Portuguese Way, The Primitivo, The Camino Sanabres, The Fisterrea / Muxia way.
I did not enjoy the Sanabres so much to be honest.
Has anyone repeated the French way, Sometimes I think memories are better left as they are, it's...
Well after 285km in 8 and a half days walking I have pulled the plug on my Camino Sanabres, if you have never heard of it , there is probably a good reason why, I hadn't either until a month ago, it was my fourth Camino not including my Finesterre/ muxia extension.
I walked the French way in two...
thanks for the input guys , the French bit sounds good, not sure I like quite a bit more expensive ! lol weather wise how would that region be in April, also I like to meet a mix of nationalities, if its generally just French walking that could be a factor also !
So it approaches April again and I'm thinking of Caminos.
I have walked the French way and last year i walked the Portuges from Porto and the Primitivo.
I would love to walk again this April but ( easter holidays ) but am not sure which Camino to do next. I have loved all my caminos , the...
hi all, I have finished my third Camino and have visited Finisterre and muxia before, I would like to spend a couple of days at the beach before flying from Santiago, is a corona an option or should i just head back to Finisterre ?
if the places are full, do alberges accommodate people with mattresses on the floor etc or is it a case of no room at the inn, go find somewhere else ?
hi all, I will be joining the Frances after the primitivo in about ten days time, is there a crazy rush for beds every day ? any danger of not finding a bed ?
HI All,
I have walked from SJPDP to Burgos and then the following year from Astorga to Santiago.
I'm considering doing the Camino Portugues and then maybe the Primitivo after it, starting late March/ Early April.
So my question is, how many times have people done the Camino Frances ? and how do...
So the primitivo wont be a lonely experience ? it's about two weeks is that right ? Ideally a month or three week trip would be best. Which camino is the second most popular ?
I do enjoy hills so are you walking over them or viewing them ? why do you view the Primitivo as the only camino you would do again ? Is it still a social affair ? I would be leaving at Easter.
HI All, I walked fromo SJPP to Burgos three years ago and then from Astorga to Santiago last year.
I loved it both times and had a really great time. I started at the beginning of April and walked for two weeks.
This year I will walk again but cannot decide which Camino to do, I do enjoy the...
