Le Puy to Santiago: a few random thoughts
Okay - we are on to next - walk stops in Conques - will need a rental car to visit Peche Merle and Rocamadour on our way to Lourdes before home. Anyone idea for where to train to for a rental car? *the Conques sites for car rentals seem suspect.- Shston Girlfd

I am planning on walking the first bit of the Via Podiensis in September and have grappled with the same problems/concerns. I have ordered the 2021 MMD book and am using it to learn Pilgrim French - I also downloaded a GPX file (predated Covid) that I found via Ivar's forum for my offline...- Shston Girlfd

Le Puy accessible and walkable earlier than Spanish routes?
Given the estimations that it may be summer 2021 before we American's can safely walk Camino again and that I am VERY concerned about not wanting to overwhelm the small hamlets.
