The AVLO, which will cover the popular Madrid-Barcelona route, will begin operating in April, and will offer an average discount of 60% on the cost of the existing AVE train

Hello,
I have been trying to take advantage of this great offer but am having trouble accessing the site. As I understand it, 1000 tickets are available once a day and are offered at only certain times. I have tried the site at those times, taking into consideration the time difference between Spain and AZ. I refresh my browser but still can't connect, then I get a message telling me I am too late, that all the tickets have been sold. I will try again tomorrow at 2000 but am not hopeful. So....any tips? Also I am interested in purchasing a Tarjeta Dorada for other trips, but as far as I can tell I must wait until I arrive in Spain to purchase it. I am also wondering if it is valid for a specific period of time or if it does not have an expiration date so I can use it on future trips. Does anyone have one of these and are they worth the 6 Euros? And yes.....I qualify age-wise
