Hi Folks

Looking forward to starting the CF from SJPdP on 14th Oct'18. I'll be walking for 7 days and hope to reach Logrono.

The CF has been my goal for years but I was always waiting until the kids grew up, retirement, etc. However, earlier this year I suddenly thought that this was the year I needed some "time out" and decided that this journey could be done in sections. Why not?

It's 6 months away and its all I'm thinking about. Am so excited!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Yeah, October suits me for family and work reasons. Then when I heard that its a beautiful time of year in Navarre, I was chuffed. It also seems to be a popular enought time of year for the CF (but maybe those were figures for finishing in Santiago in October, rather than starting in October). Ah sure, I'll be grand. Am looking forward to the chance to "breathe" again.
Take care and tks for reading this and also for your kind wishes!

Are you always thinking about your next vino tinto??????
Actually, I’m remembering cutting loose a bunch of ripe Rioja grapes to enjoy on the way to Los Arcos. They were amazingly sweet. Yes, I’m one of those thieves who pinched grapes.

To tell you the truth on my first Camino I did the same. One or two of those big juicy red grapes were a really good energy boost!
