Hi we are a couple looking for some good recommendations for accommodation in Baiona

We will be taking a rest day here so something private, quiet(ish), cosy and restful would be good - budget 70-90 euros a night maybe more for something great....

Also would people recommend staying in the centre or out near one of the beaches....

Many thanks

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Hi we are a couple looking for some good recommendations for accommodation in Baiona

I haven’t walked through Baiona, but I have been there as a tourist. I think the most fun, but pretty expensive, place to stay is in the parador. But that’s way more than 70-90. I remember seeing a small hotel on the beach that seemed charming, but I didn’t stay there. Google maps tells me it must have been Hotel Pinzón. It’s on the beach and close to the old center and the little thumb sticking out into the ocean where the parador and the castle are.

We stayed in the Paradore. Was a real treat. You can join the Paradores club for free. It gives you preferential rates and special offers.
When leaving Baiona, don’t follow the official route which takes you a little inland. Instead walk around the bay keeping the sea on your left. Keep on the path that follows the sea, it will eventually take you back to the route into Vigo. The walk into Vigo is a bit of a slog!

I would also recommend a splurge at the Parador. The hotel and grounds are exceptional, but the restaurants in the hotel were mediocre. There is a lovely terrace for a drink, but walk into Baiona for dinner - there are lots of restaurants.
