Please do not be to worried about bedbugs in albergues. Like posters here on the forum already mentioned : common sense and vigilance will help you and others to keep them at bay. The last 100 k. disposable sheets are available in lots of albergues and in ALL the ones from the Galician Xunta.

Nevertheless, I too spent some nights in pensiones/ hostales , two of them in the last week ( 100 k before SdC ).
I chose to do this because for me personally the albergues were too crowded with partygoers and I longed for the " quietness " of my first weeks.
The one in Palas de Rei is really good, Villarino, although pricey : 32 € for a single.

Other one I took in Pedrouzo was Pension Arca, 30 €, very friendly.

I think doubles in both were 45 €.

But again, more expensive than in beginning of Camino. I also took a pension in El Burgo Ranero which set me back 20 € and the pension in Vega de Valcarce was only 15 €.
