My husband and I plan on walking from May 3 to somewhere around May 31st. We are looking for a hotel in Lisbon, preferably by the airport, where we can book our arrival and departure days and leave suitcases with the hotel until we complete our Caminho Portuguese. We will carry our packs with the bare minimum for the Camino portion of our trip but have suitcases with more clothes, etc. for our post camino touring. Does anyone have a suggestion/recommendation? We did this in Spain at the Best Western in Barajas by the airport and it worked out splendidly.

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
We stayed at the Tryp Lisboa Aeroporto right across the street from the airport. You can literally walk to the place in under 3 minutes. The place was very swanky and the breakfast buffet was FANTASTIC. Don't think we paid more than $100 including the breakfast. I think if you reached out to them, they would most likely store your suitcases for you as the staff was very nice.

The hotel was also very closely located to the Metro which makes sightseeing super convenient as well.

Bon Caminho!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

That's a bummer, I was going to recommend the Tryp Lisbo Aeroporto too. I stayed there in Jan 2014, just after it opened and got a fantastic promotional rate.
There is another Tryp just down the road, near Oriente Railway Station:

I haven't stayed there, but they have availability, and maybe you could come to some arrangement with them, being the same chain, that you stay there at the beginning, and the airport Tryp at the end, and they transfer your suitcase while you are away. It's about a 10 euro taxi fare from the airport to Oriente.

Perhaps not as useful as a recommendation but I'd avoid the Hotel 3K. it wasn't so very from the airport but apart from that had little going for it. Dated and overpriced.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Thank you for this. Apologies that I didn't see the reply for a while. We reserved a different place by the airport.
