Time of past OR future Camino

Hello! Currently on Camino and having a wonderful time. We plan to end our Camino in Muxia on Aug 5th. Our plane departs at 7am on Aug 9th. My cousin lives in Bibury, Gloucestershire, England and we are thinking of paying her a visit before we depart. We are open to changing out Madrid departure to a Heathrow departure.

So, does anyone have some advice on how best to get to England (inexpensively and or quickly)? I've thought of Ryanair flights. Let me know of anything more specific if possible. Thank you very much!!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Monobus runs from Fisterra to Santiago. I think, but have not checked, that Monobus also provides service to Muxia.

Discount airlines sell tickets according to seating availability. The earlier you buy the cheaper it is.

Vueling fly from A Coruna to Heathrow, it's generally a more expensive flight than Ryanair but Heathrow is more convenient for access to Gloucester. There are buses from Muxia to A Coruna.

Go to skyscanner and input your dates and airports. If you book ahead the cost for Spain/UK isn't that high.

Be careful with the discount airlines they often have many add on charges and can end up more expensive.

From what I remember Vueling tends to have much more sensible baggage limits etc. So even if the initial cost is higher the all in cost can be cheaper.

If you book ahead even the legacy carriers can be reasonable.

If you fly into Heathrow, depending on the time you arrive, there are busses to Cheltenham, Gloucester and possibly to Gloucester itself, this saves the expense and hassle of going into Central London. If your flight didn't coincide with a bus then there is a Rail/Airlink bus to Reading and it will be possible to get a train to Gloucester or Cheltenham, presumably your family will pick you up from the station.
The busses are National Express, the trains British Rail (actually they probably aren't anymore but a search of British Rail will produce the right information).
Flights to Stansted or Gatwick require a journey into London and then across London, on the other hand if you are wanting to see London :) Though you won't see anything from the Tube and getting a bus or busses across London is an adventure in itself, good luck with the journey.

Wow!! Thank you all for the great responses and information. This forum is amazing :)
