With the help of many people on this Forum and on the walk, I arrived in Santiago this week! What an experience!
I'm taking everything in, greeting new friends as they walk in-- and also thinking about what's next. Hoping folks here might have some ideas.
I want to hang out with a friend in Madrid for a few days, and I'd also like to see some of the northern coast of Spain, between Asturias and San Sebastian. Also, I liked Burgos-- and some folks I met there-- enough to want to drop in again.
It seems like I could get to either the north coast or to Madrid fairly easily from Santiago. And either could work as a jumping off point for France and Germany.
So...any thoughts on best ways to route this-- or other locales to consider? (Tomorrow I'm doing the day bus tour to Muxia and Finisterre)
Thanks!
Joe

Congrats, Joe! You made it!! Will you stop by Pilgrim House? Michael and Mariano are there today and they'd love to welcome you in and hopefully give you some tips!
And... Did you have any meltdowns?
Consider Salamanca or Segovia. Both fantastic small cities! With the help of many people on this Forum and on the walk, I arrived in Santiago this week! What an experience!
