I know I posted a day and start change only yesterday but already may have to change again or even cancel. Have had to call the Doctor out to see my Mother whose spondylitis has flared up again. On pain patches and a review in 3 weeks. Will arrange review for the Friday before my Tuesday flight. So fingers crossed and more intense praying until then.

Hi Sy, I'm taking my cross-terrier along the Wall. She is used to chasing rabbits on our South Downs walks. I've been telling her about the wild Haggis, small sausage shaped creatures whose left legs are shorter than those on the right. This enables them to run around the sides of hills at great speed but if a Little Dog of great character can head them off and turn them around then the Haggis will tumble down the hill, straight into the pot. She mocks me as most forum members will now but I like to believe...

Does your dog have long hair by any chance because that story certainly sounds like one of the shaggy variety?
 
Oh, now I understand! We have a similar story about cattle in the Alps having one pair of legs shorter than the other due to living on a hillside. And don't lets forget the incredible Wolpertinger!
