Alcuesar - albergue casa de la misericordia. Donativo but leave donation. Pilgrim´s mass and dinner. Shuts at 1400 - 1600 then again at 2100. Opens at 0700 to let all pilgrims out. No early starters 8)
Aldea del Cano - Albergue de caminates about 300mt off camino in town. Key from Resaurante Las Vegas. Cost 5€. Two bars in town - good dinner at bar across the road from Las Vegas. 2 min walk from albergue.Nice and cosy. Has small kitchen and free washer/dryer included in price.
Caceres - Albergue Turistico Las Veletas right on the camino. Cost 16€ w/o breakfast or 19€ with breakfast. Cosy and great showeres. 5 minutes walk to everything.
Casar de Caceres - small albergue about 18 beds in two rooms (8 and 10). Donativo.Showers in both rooms toilets in big room. I took a bed in the second room without the toilets. Use of kitchen and dryer. If you use the dryer the fuses keep tripping out and you will need to reset at the switchboard. Fuse number three I think. Key from Ayuntamiento across the road. Dia supermarket on camino on way in about 300 mt from albergue. Hostal Majuca great meal.
Embalse de Alcantara - Albergue Turistico. 15€ includes breakfast. Hostal lindamar was closed. Good showers/free internet. Small rooms split level with 6 beds - all bedding supplied.
