Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Flying from Down Under-Adelaide-Perth-London-Paris Train Bayonne-SJPdP (short stint in Paris) departing August 16 2022 for our camino starting August 22nd. Can't wait to get back.
Wonderful to have something so special & long-awaited to look forward to.
Do you mind if I ask what you paid for your international flight (ie Perth to London) & who you're flying with?
Of course I understand if you'd rather not divulge, or you could PM me if you'd rather not divulge publicly!
I'm trying to get my head back into it's default 'travel-oriented' mode after so long squashed....

I think Qantas is the only airline flying non-stop from Perth to London. I expect in the next month we will see much more choice - two keen Camino walker friends are Qantas flight attendants, and they are thrilled to be back in the air again. But I anticipate other airlines will be ramping up too. I found flights from Sydney via Emirates without any hassle, and pleasingly at similar prices to two years ago.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Being from Tassie, I fly internationally from Melbourne. Qatar is my airline of choice when I'm Europe-bound. They have maintained flying to/from Australia throughout the entire pandemic. I keep receiving emails with enticing offers but I still am yet to 'flick the switch' of even contemplating a destination, much less actually booking.
Pre-pandemic, Qatar flew from Perth but must have suspended that gateway & are yet to reinstate it. Flight prices will be 'interesting' until competition returns! 😉
Thanks for the PM @Dennis White

How exciting and I am also from down under, and flying to Porto on 11 May from Sydney, finally after 5 years of planning and Covid delays. Great airfare from Sydney too, $1200 return with Lufthansa.

That's great. Are you planning the coast or central route or combination? Planning the Porto for 23' central route via Vila do Conde to Rates then onto Finisterre from SdC. Will watch out for your progress on the forum if you post along the way.

How cool is that!!! I'm in Sydney and I have booked to depart in September: Sydney - Hong Kong - Paris - Biarritz. Looking forward to it. This will be my first Camino.
