All of a sudden I’m going for a walk.

Greetings everyone. So for many years I’ve dreamt of doing the Camino but life’s always thrown a detour that’s put my dream off. Suddenly life’s granted me an opportunity with lots of time and some spare money to do the Camino frances. So I’m off today to book my flights and am hopefully heading off in a week. Gears already sorted from previous hikes in Australia and now just need to take the leap and step onto the plane and go for it. I’ll be walking alone but will have my little brother looking on from above with me and beside me. It’s actually fitting I’m doing this now as 2 years ago we said we would try do it this year together but sadly he passed away last year so I’ll be walking on his 1st year anniversary of passing. So we’ll be doing it together so to speak. Take care all on your everyday adventures.

@adam77au Forever protected, guarded and guided. I walked in memory of my sister last year and it changed my life. Watch out for the signs and remember there's no such thing as coincidence. Buen Camino to you and yours 🤠 🙏

Hello pilgrim
I walked my 1st camino this past winter in memory of my brother who died tragically. I was a great idea! I felt very close to him and all the wonderful memories of him kept a smile o

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
