Anyone have a good road route from Vezelay for a cyclist?

I'm hoping to depart Vezelay on the 6th of September or so on my touring bike. I'll be fully loaded for camping and will have my feisty wee terrier in a front basket, hence a bumpy GR doesn't appeal. I reckon the whole route to SJPP is pretty easy for cycling, but scenery is what I'm after! Anyone done a road route from there that they'd like to share? How about the availability of campsites??
All the best!!
