Need help

I arrive on a Monday at 3:30 in Bayonne. How often do trains run to SJPP?
I looked on a schedule but I only saw there is one train a day, and on Monday only at 12:00pm.
If that is the case I need to cancel my reservation in SJPP and stay on Bayonne till the next morning.
or is there a city bus maybe I can get? I really would like to get to SJPP and make my reservation.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Train travel to from Bayonne to SJPdP is by TER line 62. Due to repairs on the rr line until further notice the TER line 62 local train is replaced by a TER bus which departs from the Bayonne railroad station/Gare SNCF. Here is THE SCHEDULE. On Mondays buses leave Bayonne at 07:14, 11:07, 14:55, and 18:06. Travel time to SJPdP is roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Bon voyage and Buen camino!

The schedule may change. However, the schedule hasn't changed for quite some time. There are usually 4 buses (or trains) daily.

Check the schedule again about 30 days in advance of travel ... just to confirm.

The only thing that is changing is whether the train goes to Cambo les Bains and then transfer to a bus or the bus goes the full distance. There were rumours the tracks would be repaired ... in which case the train goes the full distance.

So go ahead and buy the tickets for Paris to Bayonne. The ticket for TER service from Bayonne to SJPdP is good for 90 days and there is no advantage to buying the ticket for this leg in advance.
