Time of past OR future Camino
June 18 (2016)
Hello all, I am booked and confirmed to begin my Camino. I'll be arriving in Madrid on June 17, staying overnight in Irun, and arriving in SJPP early morning June 18th. I'll be staying overnight in Orisson on the 18th. Anyone else around this time?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Welcome NHDori, you will meet loads of of people in St Jean who will be starting the same time as you so you will have plenty company.
Wishing you a safe and wonderful Camino.
Enjoy every step.

Thank you Wayfarer! I'm incredibly excited. However, as a perpetual introvert with social shyness who is stepping WAY outside of her comfort zone (I've never even had dinner alone in a restaurant, nor have I ever been to Europe), the idea of a familiar face relieves some initial anxiety I have about doing this amazing journey. Not that I would let the lack of knowing someone keep me from doing this journey (that's why I've already booked my flights and the first 48 hours of my trip so I won't back out), it does make it slightly less scary for me :)

Hi, you will have a nice time in the albergue Orisson. At night everyone is introduce him/here self to the other pilgrims. That's so great, meeting your Camino family.
Wish you a wonderful time and a Buen Camino, Peter.

I promise you won't be alone starting from either SJPDP or Orisson...I am sending you two maps to help you on your travels. (Enclosures)

My only warning about Orrison is breakfast...the large bowl is for coffee so that you can soak the hard bread in before you can eat it...but basically breakfast is coffee, tea, warm orange juice, warm milk, pastry, hard bread, dry cereal, and you can buy a cold coke and other drinks...the Orrison veterans brought instant oatmeal in packages and used the hot water for tea for something more substantial to eat...if you are lucky up near the cross (point #6 on the enclosed map) there will be a roadside food van selling hard boiled eggs and bananas. Buen Camino

Thank you so much for the advice! I would've never guessed a large bowl for coffee! I've downloaded the information and will save it to the table I'm bringing.
