Hi fellow pilgrims
My name is Sarah and i am about to embark on my first pilgrimage in June along the Camino del norte from Bilbao to Ribadeo something i have been wanting to do for 15 years! I am leaving behind my darling Husband and my 3 beautiful children to walk the Camino for 4 weeks. It is 20 years since my first solo adventure and its been that long since i have ventured on my own. I have travelled to many countries on many exciting trekking adventures and the like but always with my family, so to go Solo again make me both nervous and excited! But sitting on my couch dreaming of extraordinary adventures will not make them happen so i have my boots, my pack and am now trawling this website for up to date info and inspiration and i am coming to Spain!
hope i meet some lovely pilgrims on my way! look forward to meeting you.
please get in contact if you will be walking then! And someone please let me know if there is a better guide book than the confraternity of saint james one. It looks good but have not seen any others to compare so let me know if there is one.
