Are there any Australians who have entered Spain by air since 1 Jan 2023?

The official Spanish sites are a bit contradictory as to whether we require to present covid certification. one of the most official Spanish sites says yes we do (Australians don't get a special reprieve that some other countries do).

but when I read the Australian SafeTravel website they say Spain has dropped ALL covid requirement for Aussies.

has anyone traveled by air from Aus (or any non EU countries) recently and been asked to provide some kind of covid paperwork?

with thanks

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Yes, I saw that one. but this one (https://www.exteriores.gob.es/Embaj...iculos/Covid19-Entry-requeriments-20sp22.aspx) says different hence why I'm confused and waiting the most current on the ground experience...

If you plan to travel from Australia to Spain in 2023 why are you reading and quoting a communication published two months ago on the website of the Spanish embassy in Dhaka in Bengladesh (it says https://www.exteriores.gob.es/Embajadas/dhaka ... in your link) instead of from the website of the Spanish embassy in Canberra in Australia? They published a communication on 16 December 2022 about Travelling to Spain from Australia. It clearly says that there are no longer any restrictions i.e. no requirements anymore.

I guess that what happens when you research while in bed sick. I was finding it all confusing and didn't notice at all the Dhaka thing. I simply saw what I thought was relevant which was that it's an official Spanish site (.es) and I didn't reference Dhaka or another country in the content. glad I can put it to rest.

I arrived in Barcelona on October 11 2022 zero paperwork required other than my passport…

No entry restrictions at all for passengers leaving Australia for Spain on October 11, 2022 ??? Could it be that you have already forgotten that you had to present proof that you fulfilled some Covid-19 related entry requirements for Spain before you were even allowed to board the plane in the first place? ☺️

All largely academic now of course. Just a reminder how important it is to provide precise information about who, where from, where to, exactly. And when. Which is what the OP wanted to know and knows now.

I would carry proof of vaccine anyway.
