I completed the Camino on November 6, 2013, and I miss it so much it hurts some times. I am thinking about returning for 10 to 14 days to get a refresher (I just not in a position to walk all 790 kilometers again). I am trying to decide where I would walk if I had only two weeks. And, as crazy as this sounds, I am thinking about Burgos to Leon. Your thoughts?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

That is 178km, a nice ten day walk. Leon to Santiago fits into 14 days nicely, as would Astorga to Santiago. Buen camino.

I loved doing Astorga to Santiago as the landscape changed every day. You get a little bit of everything in a very short time, rolling hills, mountains, vineyards, forests, agricultural, urban sprawl, etc.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Try Sanabres leaving from Puebla de Sanabria for 252km. Town as a rail station and is 10 days walk to Santiago in mountains similar to Astorga-Santiago. Albergues are purpose built so nice but a bit sterile. Go to http://www.mundicamino.com/ingles/ then click on The Sanbres Way button and check out the route.
I did as tail end of Via de la Plata in fall of 2010. From Zamora to Ourense (110km to Santiago so easy Compostela!) I met maybe 4 other pilgrims.
Starting in Zamora (410km) is 15 days and stages tend to be long with not much in-between infrastructure compared to Camino Frances so isn't really appropriate unless your legs are ready to average 30+km daily. Probably lots more information in threads on VDLP.
