Bilbao airport to Camino del Norte

Hello all!

I start my Camino (del Norte) on Wednesday and will be cycling.

I fly to Bilbao and will collect my bike when I arrive.

But I have no idea how to get onto the Camino del Norte 'path' once I arrive. And in fact, is there a name for the 'path' (something that I can search on Googlemaps for example?).

Many thanks!

Danny

The Camino goes through Autonomia Kalea that it's a well-known street in Bilbao. You'll find it on any Bilbao map (just be sure to take the street on the right direction; i.e.: towards Portugalete) and any local will give you directions if you needed it.

Just make your way to the paseo along the river, opposide side to the Gug, and head West following the river, than the docks. This will take you to Portugalete following the metro line that will be to your righ.

Thanks for the replies.

I sent my bike from the correos (in Barcelona) yesterday, using the 'Bici' package for the camino (which I understood that you could send your bike to any correro along the camino) - but apparently I couldn't send it to Bilbao. The nearest correos is in Castro Urdiales so I'll collect it from there.

Thanks again
