I a man walking from Burgos but my bus arrives in the city at 6.15pm. This will be on the 21st May this year. Are my chances of a bed for the night good? Not sure how quickly it fills at that time of year.
Thanks so much.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-

The municipal Albergue de peregrinos Casa del Cubo y de los Lerma offers 150 places and there are other albergues within the city; you should be able to find a spot. It is a short walk from the bus station across the bridge to the cathedral and the nearby Casa del Cubo. See other Burgos accommodation possibilities on this Gronze page https://www.gronze.com/etapa/burgos/hornillos-camino

Good luck and Buen camino!

Thank you for the response.
Golly, I just reread my post.
It should have begun ‘I am walking’
I finished in Burgos in early June 2015 and kinda know the area between the bus station and the cathedral. I also stayed at the albergue behind the cathedral so was hoping to go back. Fingers crossed they are not ‘completo’.

I would think that your chances are not that good for that time and that date. I would suggest you find something that you can reserve in advance for peace of mind if nothing else. This is what the lineup looked like on May 17th last year at about 12:30. The albergue opened at 12:00. So by 1:00 pm I would estimate that the albergue would have been almost half full.

There is also a very nice hostel right next door to the bus station. Hostel Burgos. Very convenient, and an easy walk to the cathedral if you wish.
