bus tickets Pamplona to SJPP?

Hello, a mate and I begin our journey on 21 July, we hope to catch an early train from Madrid to Pamplona, connecting with the bus to SJPP. is it wise to pre book both before leaving Australia, is it possible?

Catagorically; yes. More so for the train, and you’ll find it cheaper.
 
I can't give time to checking timetables right this minute, but agree with above advice. Just be careful that train arrival allows at least half an hour to get to bus station in Pamplona. Best way at that point, taxi to bus station. If you miss it, other threads advise hunting for likely pilgrims who might share a taxi...
