We are arriving on Friday 4 th Sept at Bilbao airport at 4.15 p.m. and want to get to Bolibar and stay the night at Ziortza. I understand it may be possible to get a bus from Bilbao airport or Bilbao. Will we be able to get there in time to get into a hostal.? I know I asked a related question before but cant seem to find a bus timetable so need a bit more detail. All the best Maggie

You have to change buses in Markina. Given your arrival time, you would need to take the 19:20 bus in Markina (the last one). Buses from downtown Bilbao to Markina depart hourly at 10 minutes past the hour, 20 minutes to the hour and 15 minutes to the hour (diferent lines with diferent destinations but all of them stop in Markina along their route). If you missed the last bus to Ziortza-Bolibar, Markina is just roughly 5 or 6 kms away from Ziortza-Bolivar so you might take a taxi (if it's within your budget).

Dear Castilian Thank you so much for your reply . It clears things up and means I don't have to keep searching websites. Once we get there we'll be fine. We were last time when we walked from Irun to Deba. Just picking up the trail again. Thanks a lot
