Hoping that someone can give some info on what buses may service Rabanal del Camino, specifically to and from Ponferada?

This thread discusses a bus three times per week from Rabanal to Astorga with autocares Pedrin. I had no success getting the autocares Pedrin website to load. http://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/bus-astorga-to-rabanal.13627/

You'll have to ask locally or call the Astorga bus station.

From Astorga there is frequent train (Renfe) and bus service (ALSA) that will get you to Ponferrada.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a bus from Ponferrada to Rabanal, but there is a bus from Astorga that runs three times a week.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Tue dep Rabanal 9:30
Wed and Fri 7:30
Astorga to Rabanal days above, leave Astorga at 13:30.

From a Spanish website:

From Astorga to Rabanal, there are buses Pedrín Coach Company, once a day (at 13:30), Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. In any case, the station's phone is 987 619 100, in case no other way. A taxi would be about 20 euros or more (they are 20 miles).

(I think it is 20km, not 20 miles.)

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Thanks to all who replied so helpfully.

Not sure of starting date yet but it will be around the middle of May.

Alan.
