These spectacular treats were such an encouragement to me, especially when my energy was waning. I loved being immersed in God's glory & treasured walking at snail's pace. Butterflies & weeds. So precious!

Right now I'm in Texas and the ecilpsed sun is mostly covered (it will go total in about 5 minutes). Sitting in a meadow with blue bonnets and it feels like each has its own small butterfly.

Edit: The internet must be busy. Two attempts to get the photo uploaded have failed. Totality is over.

Upload failed again. First pic is 10 minutes after instead of before. Not as many butterflies; they must have gone to bed.

Glad you told me; I would have thought it was butterflies singing.

Here's a recent picture of our backyard. I usually don't mow until June. Last week I first heard of No Mow May, a good idea.
