I have stopped there often for a coffee and/or lunch break. It's not really a 'cute kitty' kind of place, but the food is good, and there are a few rooms upstairs available for an overnight stay. Jose Ramon is a friendly host and I always enjoy the stopover.
I, too, always enjoyed staying with Jose at the Albergue Lorca, 34 Calle Major. The food was good and in winter the simple dorms were always well heated.
Having looked at the website, I do remember the red metal bunk beds and having to sleep on top...they were shaky and squeaky! Might just be worthy of a second visit the next time I pass thru!
