Camino de Levante (Valencia to Santiago)

I´m planning to do the walk from Valencia (or Denia) to Santiago sometime in 2011. I would have liked to do it this year but think with it being the Holy Year it might not be a good idea.

Anyone got any info/advice on the Levante route to Santiago?

Hi,

Denia is much close to Alicante than to Valencia.

There's another route well marked from Alicante. You can choose the one you prefer.

I don't know from Denia, but the Camino is also been recently marked from Benidorm, quite close to Denia as Alicante.

Hi,

I walked from Valencia to Toledo and then Zamora to Santiago last autumn. I would recommend it, but bear in mind there are very few pilgrims (I did not meet any others until Zamora) and there are some long stages (25 miles plus) that you cannot make shorter).

I´ll certainly check out the route from Benidorm, and also look at Andy´s site.
