Camino del Norte

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
What about something more fluid and continuous, like “warming up” your legs walking from Pamplona to Irun? You could go somewhat directly or go indirectly via SJPdP-Bayonne-Irun.
 
I will be starting from San Sebastian 29 Aug and plan to arrive in Santiago on 6 Oct. Look for me on the trail!!

Hello we are walking again this year, first up we are ‘warming up’ our walking legs and walking from Pamplona to Logrono- starting 18.8.23. Then heading up to Irun and walking the del Norte slowly from the 24.8.23 into Santiago de Compostela around the 8 th October. Hope to see you along the way

While you are on Norte you might consider to take a small trip from Unquera up to Potes in Picos de Europa.
There is a bus going up to Potes and there is a wonderful albergue there.
Do some research on Picos de Europa and you will find many wonderful mountain possibilities.
If you dont want to take the bus youcan walk up but it is --- uphill.
