Camino Finistere to Del Norte

Has anyone any comments on cycling from Muxia to the Camino del Norte?

Felicity and Gerry from Ireland are cycling the Frances and Finnistere in May/June. Rather then returning to Santiago de Compostello we plan on making our way from Muxia via La Coruna and Ferrol and picking up the Del Norte a bit to the west of Ribadeo. We will then do the Del Norte, in reverse, back to our starting point in Bayonne.

Anyone with recommendations on the Ferrol to Ribadeo leg? We can go around the coast through Vivero or inland via Vialba. I seem to remember seeing some wonderful mountains from the bus on the inland route but don't know anything about the coast route.
