Very excited... Starting this wonderful journey in 13 days ...May 3 rd to be precise... From Le Puy... My sister is walking with me for the first two weeks...
Lots of questions to ask... But also very happy to just get started and take it all in our stride.
This is my first post... So apologies in advance for any faux pas :)

Hi I am about to stroll into leon tomorrow. I have a few rest days too repair boots and heal my feet. I over did the hiking on the roman road, sharp rocks, now my feet are sore and blistered all part of the experience.

Where are you?

I left from st jean pied and have loved every minute of it. My friend joe from germany did some of le puy before getting to st jean. Plenty of mountains to work your buns into shape.

The wine, in the wine country is amazing. When I started to do 40km plus days thats when my feet fell apart. The body and mind are up for the big days, it was that the feet could not withstand the extra punishment.

I have a few mountains coming up after leon.
