My husband and I are planning our CF coming up this fall. We would like to avoid roads with traffic as much as possible. Could you please suggest some alternate routes we might consider that would take us off busy roads but then bring us back to the main CF route? Thank you!

There's very little road walking, but there are a lot of places where the Camino is next to the road on a path called a "senda". John Brierly publishes a guidebook that often lists "variants" of the route. You might look there?
