Camino Frances in June - Bed situation

SJPDP 2016
Hi everyone!

I am flying to France and SJPDP in 2 weeks to walk my very first camino.
As much as I am looking forward to it, I have to admit I am the kind of person who prefer not to plan too much in advance, hence I haven't really prepared much when it comes to daily distances, places to sleep, things to see, etc. I rather prefer to chose and discover all those things along the way.
However, I just realized 2016 is a holy year and from recent posts, it seems that auberges seems to be full and beds tends to run out very fast these days which is making me a bit worried...
Is there anyone on the Camino Frances right now, or is there anyone who have done this walk in June previous years who maybe could give me a short update on this matter? Is it possible to just walk and stay in places the way I planned, or do I have to book beds in advance?

Thanks for your help and wish you all a buen camino!! :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Start walking, go with the flow and if it really gets too much for you switch to another camino. Buen Camino, SY

I have walked in June twice.

A few suggestions:
1. Be flexible - go with the flow as @SYates pointed out
2. Start early (before 7:00 am) and finish early each day (noon) if we want to find a free bed at a public albergue
3. Or call ahead and reserve a bed at a private albegue or pension and then walk longer in the afternoon
4. Don't stay in the towns and cities listed at the end of each stage in the guidebooks
5. Instead stay in the small towns and villages
6. Dont panic and don't worry - it is all part of the experience

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I'll second what's been said above.
Sounds as if you're like me, the only planning I did was book the ticket and stay at Orrison.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
