Camino off the Beaten Track in the Canaries

The BBC today, March 11, posted the following article by Mathew Hirtes re a Camino de Santiago in the Canaries. See this link. It is one walk where crowds are not a problem!

An interesting piece. A little exaggeration for effect on some of the numbers though. I haven't walked the Frances for a while but I'm fairly sure that less than 99% is on roads and motorways. And I don't think we've reached the 300,000 pilgrims a year milestone quite yet...
