Camino Primitivo May 2009

Hi

I'm planning to hike the Camino Primitivo during May. Are there any suggestions/advice for a first timer? We are planning to spend the first night in Santander and would then continue to Oviedo to start the hike. Please let me know about good refugios on the way or accommodation in Santander.

Thanks

Hi, Hester,

Lucky you, this is a beautiful, rural route. It's really magical. You will get a lot of good information if you look through all the threads on the Camino Primitivo part of this forum.

Here's a link to my own report on stages and places to stay along the way. camino-primitivo/topic4841.html I'm happy to elaborate, so just ask.

Buen camino, Laurie
