Camping Camino and otherwise September 2013!

September (2013)
Hello all,
My name is Kristy, from Vancouver Canada, the low 30's. I'm heading for my first Camino in September and October this year, 2013! I'm super stoked to have the opportunity to do this and am looking forward to meeting many great souls along the way. My plan . . . well I don't like to plan and as far as I got was to book some nights in France at the start to explore Bordeaux and a night or two at the end to get back to my plane. I want to try and camp as much as I can along the Frances and would love to meet some like minded campers. That being said, I'll never pass up a good bed :) I wish you all safe and inspired travels and maybe we'll see each other out there on the trail!
Cheers, Buen Camino!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Hi Kristy, Another Vancouver "girl" here who is planning to put boots to ground in September. Perhaps we'll meet. In the interim ... enjoy the preparation ... physical and otherwise. (You'll see from the photo that I've taken some liberties with the definition of "girl". :0)

Hi Joan! Glad to know there will be another from the Western Canadian contingent heading out along this trek. Perhaps we will meet along the way. I arrive in St Jean on the first of Sept and plan to start walking on the 2nd. You know what's really neat . . . everyone I talk to has had some friend or relative who has trekked the Camino and they all have great stories. I'm excited! Ciao for now!

HI Kirsty,
Not a Vancouver girl myself, but loved the place when I visited a few years ago...We will also be staying in St Jean on the first of September, walking on the 2nd! We won't be camping, but may see you walking...I'm the red-head Kiwi :) A bientot.
Buen Camino!
